About Us
Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. Rotary Club of the Pacific Northwest Ending Sex Trafficking is uniquely focused on a single cause: to end sex trafficking. We meet virtually and focus on taking positive action to address sex trafficking in our local communities. We support Rotary International in their initiative to end human trafficking worldwide.

CLUB HiStory
The idea for this club formed from a presentation to Seattle Rotary about sex trafficking locally and was grew in the Seattle Rotary Peacebuilders Committee for many years. As part of the Seattle Rotary Peacebuilder Committee, we completed several impactful projects, the most successful of which was the Health Care Alliance where 1,000 health care professionals and 1,000 Seattle Fire Fighters received training on sex trafficking identification and how to respond. This project won the best peace project in Rotary Club District 5030 for the Rotary Year 2019-20. Under the leadership of Virginia McKenzie, the Rotary Club of the Pacific Northwest Ending Sex Trafficking began to meet in 2021 and was officially chartered as a cause-specific Rotary Club on October 3, 2021.
